The TPM Academy® of Central Ohio

The Workforce Development Board of Central Ohio (WDBCO) has partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to bring the TPM Academy® to Central Ohio.

The TPM Academy is an initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation that trains business, workforce, and economic development leaders on the Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) approach, a demand-driven strategy to create real career pathways for students and workers with talent pipelines aligned to dynamic business needs.

Ohio has seen impressive economic growth over the past few years and significant investments have been made to support the growth of our communities. We have seen key investments from the state level in industry sector partnerships. The TPM® framework will provide tools and a shared language for effective alignment of employer needs and those that work to prepare talent for in-demand opportunities.

We recognize that attending the Academy alone will not result in change for your community—it will require your commitment to identifying, developing, and integrating tactics throughout your approach.

All participants in the TPM Academy are required to commit to attend the training sessions between August and November. Each training will consist of lecture, group work, and hands-on TPM web tool training. Upon graduating the TPM Academy you will become part of the National Learning Network, a collaborative group that will support your efforts beyond your TPM Academy experience.
